Course Info

This course is broadly defined to include all aspects of labor/ employment law, including discrimination law, the law governing labor unions, the common law governing the employment relationship, ADR in labor/employment, and employment statutory law such as ERISA (health & pension plans), the FLSA (wage/hour), OSHA (workplace safety), and workers' compensation. Students will choose a research topic on a novel issue related to labor/employment law, and are expected to write a publication-ready article and to give a class presentation on that issue. Throughout the semester, students will submit multiple drafts of their article for faculty and peer review.
